About Us
CSSSyllabus.com.pk is an independent education website built for one purpose: giving CSS aspirants in Pakistan accurate, complete, and easy-to-use syllabus information for the Central Superior Services examination.
What We Do
The official FPSC syllabus is scattered across long PDF notifications that are hard to search and harder to study from. We compile the complete syllabus for all 6 compulsory papers and 45 optional subjects into clean, readable pages — each with the full topic breakdown, marks distribution, recommended books, past-paper trend analysis, and a free PDF download. We also publish MPT preparation guides, solved past papers, eligibility criteria, and free tools like our optional-subject selector.
Everything on this site is cross-checked against official notifications published on fpsc.gov.pk. When FPSC updates a syllabus or announces a change, we update the relevant pages and mark them with a fresh “Last Updated” date.
Who Runs This Site
Asim Hussain — Founder & Chief Reviewer
Asim Hussain is a CSP officer of the CSS 2018 batch, currently serving as Assistant Commissioner in the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR). Having gone through the CSS examination himself, he started CSSSyllabus.com.pk to fix a problem he faced as an aspirant: reliable syllabus material was hard to find in one place.
As Chief Reviewer, Asim personally reviews every syllabus page on this site for accuracy against the official FPSC notifications before it is published. Subject-selection guidance and scoring-trend analysis on the site draw on his experience of the examination and on data compiled from past papers.
Our Team
Day-to-day content research, writing, and site maintenance are handled by the CSSSyllabus Team — a small group of education writers who prepare each page under Asim’s review. Every article on this site carries a named author and a last-updated date, so you always know how current the information is.
Our Editorial Standards
- Accuracy first. Syllabus content is taken from official FPSC sources. Where we add explanation, analysis, or opinion — such as scoring trends or book recommendations — it is clearly presented as our own analysis.
- Corrections welcome. If you spot an error, tell us through our Contact page. Verified corrections are fixed promptly, and urgent errors affecting aspirants are prioritised.
- No copied content. Our explanations, FAQs, analyses, and tools are written originally for this site. Official syllabus text is reproduced only where aspirants need the exact official wording, and always with our own added guidance.
- Free access. All syllabus pages, PDFs, and tools on this site are free. We do not charge for access to information.
