Current Affairs Past Papers
Current Affairs is one of the three General Knowledge papers in the CSS written examination, and FPSC prints it as General Knowledge Paper-II (Current Affairs). Every candidate attempts it. The paper carries 100 marks in two parts. Part-I holds 20 MCQs. Part-II holds 80 descriptive marks, and this cluster publishes Part-II. Candidates attempt four questions from Q.2 to Q.8, and each question carries 20 marks. The pattern stays the same in every paper in this set, from 2009 to 2025. Part-II tracks the world as it stood in each exam year. Pakistan’s own questions return every year: the energy crisis, corruption, water conflicts with India, and relations with the United States and China. World questions follow the headlines of the day: the Arab Spring, the rise of ISIS, the Taliban return in Kabul, Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, and the Palestine conflict. Kashmir appears again and again, as do CPEC, the SCO and the shifting balance between Washington and Beijing. Candidates who read the year’s events with a Pakistan lens hold the edge in this paper. This page collects seventeen papers, 2009 to 2025. Clean original sheets for 2000 to 2008 and for 2026 do not survive online, so the collection starts at 2009 and ends at 2025. Each year page maps the seven Part-II questions that year actually set and links the original paper as a PDF. Attempt four questions under exam timing, and write full answers. Then read the frequency analysis on the syllabus page. It shows which themes FPSC repeats year after year, and it tells you where revision earns marks.
