Current Affairs Past Paper 2012
Water opens the Current Affairs past paper 2012, and Pakistan’s own problems fill most of its seven questions. Q.2 evaluates the significance of the water conflict between India and Pakistan against global climate change. Q.3 discusses the impact of foreign aid on Pakistan in the post-9/11 scenario. Q.4 defends Pakistan’s role in the Commonwealth. Q.5 asks how the energy crisis of Pakistan can be resolved. Q.6 takes up the issues in the higher educational system against the 18th Amendment. Q.7 asks how corruption can be managed in Pakistan. Q.8 closes abroad, with the impact of China’s economic development on world order. Six of the seven questions turn on Pakistan itself, and the examiners expect solutions and judgements, not summaries of events.
