Current Affairs CSS Syllabus 2026 & 2027 — FPSC Syllabus PDF

CSS Current Affairs syllabus topics and- FPSC-Repeated topics

The CSS Current Affairs syllabus carries 100 marks. FPSC publishes the official topic scope on fpsc.gov.pk under the Central Superior Services examination rules. The current affairs CSS syllabus covers Pakistan’s political developments, economic issues, foreign policy, and global affairs — including regional disputes, United Nations resolutions, and climate policy. Questions come from events across the full year before the examination date. That is twelve months of national and international news, not just the final weeks. Candidates who start Current Affairs preparation late consistently underperform on this paper. Current Affairs is one of the compulsory papers every CSS candidate sits, forming part of the CSS compulsory subjects syllabus alongside five other 100-mark papers.

Candidates preparing Current Affairs will find significant syllabus overlap with the CSS Pakistan Affairs syllabus — Pakistan’s foreign policy, economic challenges, and political developments appear as tested topics in both papers.
